Getting ready for the wedding

Saturday morning is our wedding brunch and still working hard to make sure all is ready: flowers, venue, ceremony, food, drinks, music….. Thanks especially to Don, Tiago, Susan, MarK Leydorf and Miguel. This Friday there is a welcome at Le Bain for those coming to the wedding from outside of NY and those not invited due to limits in space and budget!

Have been doing therapy and treatment each week almost every day. Somewhat better, but each day has some struggle.

Went to 2 movies this week: Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals – amazing and Elle – we both hated it! Too much going on that makes no real sense. Also went to see the Nederlands Dans Theater and – amazing choreography and dancers.  Also saw Natalia Osipova Sergei Polunin of Sadler wells. Ok, but not at the same level as Nederlands. Love that I am getting out more. Had brunch with Aalap on Sunday and the week before with Francesca and Cesar. We also saw a Nan Goldin exhibit at MOMA – she is amazing, too!

I continue to go to the gym almost every day and that is both needed and also very hard! But I’ll keep at it and little by little hope to get back to my more “normal” self.

For the wedding, we have almost 100 people coming from the USA, Europe and Asia.

Sorry to repeat, but not spending much time on the phone or with visitors – still too much for me! I’m easily overwhelmed. Also my memory still sucks. I forget so much! Hoping I can enjoy the wedding in spite of the crowd! Sorry to those who have tried so hard to stay in touch and help! For now, peace and quiet is more important.

For now, that’s it.

Love to all,

  1. Wishing you both a very happy wedding day and a wonderful marriage. We found, even after years together, that getting married made subtle differences that became evident over time. Enjoy that. Love to you both from southern Kentucky...Jonathan and Ray
